Undercover Vs Enclosed Caravan / Boat Storage

We have personally stored boats and caravans for many, many years and whilst "enclosed" storage does have some advantages, it also has some real negatives!

CARAVANS: Space is a real issue and a 3.5 Metre width bay will seem very narrow with walls on each side in your bay. Reversing into a black hole becomes much harder as the space is narrow and VERY dark. Solar panels wont charge, mould can be an issue, condensation and roof dripping, plus heat that cannot escape is not ideal for your van. Dust will still be an issue as sheds breathe in and out with each temperature change, so if there is dust (Gravel) surrounding your bay, it will suck straight in later on a warm day. If you had a gas leak, enclosed is less than ideal! Vans are designed to be outdoors!
Mice and birds love enclosed spaces!

BOATS: One of the downsides of enclosed storage space is mould! It's great to be able to store your boat knowing the seats, cover and boat will dry out properly, thus reducing potentially terrible mould issues. You can also leave your motor down to drain out! Space & height can be a real issue and a 3.5 Metre width bay will seem narrow with walls on each side in your bay.

(Like a water pump still priming or an awning not in properly) Also our security cameras are watching your actual Van or Boat, not a shed door. Its a Win / Win!

How do I Cancel The Rental?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel your storage anytime after your minimum period. (Selected at sign up)

Just notoity us and your cancellation will be within 24 hours, with your last day being the next 7 day roll over period. You can also cancel yourself via your dashboard!

Question 5

What Access Do I have?

Accepted Answer

Access to the storage facility is daylight hours only without permission. You can visit after dark no problems, providing management have been notified and they have confirmed your visit.

Can I Put A Trailer & Car in One Bay?

YES you can! Providing that they both fit in the bay, it's fine! a 6x4 Trailer should easily fit behind a car in an undervover (or outdoor bay)

Can I Stay Overnight In My Van?

NO Sorry! This would breach all our security protocols! We are looking at setting aside land outside the yard in the future.

OPTIONS | What is a Dedicated Camera?

As an option at sign up, a DEDICATED CAMERA is available meaning you will have access to a live streaming video camera feed, that focusses on your vehicle. You can log in and check your van or boat 24 hours a day (Even at night). Have peace of mind being able to check your vehicle remotely!

Also great if you have sent a third party person down to the storage facilty and you want to watch the "hook on" or want to see exactly whats going on live!
